BEHIND THE ART

In the beginning of this painting, I was unaware of what was going to happen. I picked up the paintbrush and trusted that Holy Spirit was going to be in every stroke. I left and came back to it several times until I felt lead to add no more. Not convinced of its completion, my father seen him and instantly called him “Jesus as an old man”, I couldn’t see the connection. Several nights later I had a dream in which I expressed “’the searching man’ was gone from the painting”. “What searching man” my mom replied. “Jesus, Jesus is gone” I explained. Several days following my dream, my younger sister dreamt about the rapture, some of my family was left behind and in tears. In a family meeting, as she shivered and broke in tears, she explained her dream. Needless to say, those who were left in the dream began to pursue Jesus like never before. “Searching Man” became a family affair to an out pouring of Holy Spirit.
